What is flatware？
Flatware is one name for the eating utensils such as forks, spoons and knives. They are also known as cutlery. These utensils are commonly made of silver or stainless steel. Because historically most good quality flatware was made of silver, and because of its usual distinctive colour, it is often called silverware, even when it is not made of silver. Flatware can also be composed of wood, pewter, steel or other metals which can be silver or gold plated.
